Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members, supporting data collection for two calendar years.

Travel to in-person training in January 2027 is mandatory; some assignments require overnight travel. This is a part-time, variable-hour role with potential overtime and periodic breaks between rounds.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study and Teams training between Jan 4–Jan 15, 2027.
• Attend in-person training from Jan 19–25, 2027 and post-training home study Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with households and collect data.
• Set appointments, contact households by phone to gain cooperation and arrange visits.
• Transmit electronic data daily and maintain data security and confidentiality.
