Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for MEPS to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in nationally representative households. The role includes contacting respondents, arranging interviews, and collecting and submitting signed documents.

Training starts in January 2027, with occasional overnight travel possible. The position is part-time and runs across two data collection periods each year, January–mid-July and late July–early December, with breaks between

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with ability to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions in Jan 2027.
• Able to travel for mandatory in-person training and potential overnight travel.
• Be available for data collection from Jan 2027 to Dec 2030.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect and follow up with documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily when working and comply with data security requirements.
