Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households. The role involves travel to local and occasional long-distance households, with mandatory MEPS training in January 2027 and two data collection periods per year.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with data transmission daily and opportunities for overtime. Breaks between rounds are typical, and compensation includes a weekly health and welfare

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study and Teams training in January 2027.
• Travel to in-person training in January 2027 and related activities.
• Be available to work January 2027 through December 2030.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Set appointments, complete interviews, and collect and follow up with documents.
• Transmit data daily and adhere to data-security requirements.
• Travel to MEPS training and to assigned households as needed.
• Report to field supervisor and complete administrative paperwork.
