Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Part-Time Field Interviewers for the MEPS project. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, travel to assigned households, and manage scheduling and data collection.

Training is required in January 2027, with periodic travel and possible overnight stays. The role runs during two annual data collection periods, with evenings and weekends often involved.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with ability to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Willing to complete mandatory web-based training and in-person training.
• Travel to training and to local/long-distance households as needed.
• Meet physical requirements and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect documents.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security and confidentiality rules.
• Report to a field supervisor and complete administrative paperwork.
