Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study, a nationwide survey of health care costs and usage conducted for AHRQ. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, arrange visits, and handle study documents.

This is a part-time, yearly program with two data collection periods. Training in January 2027 is mandatory, and some travel including overnight stays may be required. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training between January 4 and 15, 2027.
• Attend mandatory in-person training: travel January 19–25, 2027.
• Post-training home study January 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Contact households and set appointments for interviews.
• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
