Job summary

Westat, Inc. invites applications for Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study, a national survey on health care costs and usage. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews, arrange interviews, and collect data from households across designated areas.

Training in January 2027 is mandatory, with occasional local and long-distance travel. Role is part-time with two data collection periods annually; you will transmit data daily and adhere to strict confidentiality and

Qualifications

• In-person interviewing experience or computer-assisted interviewing experience preferred.
• Public contact and/or cold-calling experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with selected households.
• Schedule appointments and gain cooperation for MEPS data collection.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Travel to training and field locations as required by the study timeline.
