Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for MEPS to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, traveling to households as required. The role supports the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, a federally funded study on health care costs and usage.

This is a part-time, yearly position with two data collection periods and mandatory training in January 2027. Candidates must be 18+, willing to travel, and able to transmit data daily while meeting confidentiality and security

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Available for mandatory training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Able to travel to in-person training and field locations.
• Commitment to 20 hours per week during data collection periods.

Responsibilities

• Contact households and schedule interviews.
• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality.
