Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study—collecting accurate health care data through in-person interviews and computer-assisted methods.

Roles involve visiting households, coordinating with respondents, and ensuring timely data submission and documentation. The position is part-time with travel to training and field sites; flexible evening/weekend hours may apply, and overtime opportunities exist during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study and MS Teams sessions (Jan 4–Jan 15, 2027).
• Attend mandatory in-person training (Jan 20–Jan 25, 2027).
• Post-training home study (Jan 26–Jan 31, 2027).

Responsibilities

• Contact households and conduct in-person interviews.
• Schedule and set appointments; collect data and signed documents.
• Travel to MEPS training and to field locations as required; transmit data daily.
