Westat is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study, a national survey on health care costs and usage. Interviewers will travel to households, conduct in-person and video interviews, and collect signed documents using a Westat laptop.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires training in January 2027, with data transmission daily and potential travel to local and long-distance households. Breaks occur between rounds, and overtime is possible under the Service Contract Act.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old with ability to enter binding confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training, including MS Teams video sessions, between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Travel to and attend mandatory in-person training from January 19–25, 2027.
• Be available for additional mandatory web-based and virtual training after in-person training (Jan 26–31, 2027).

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adults in sampled households.
• Contact households in-person or by phone to gain cooperation and set appointments.
• Complete and submit administrative paperwork; transmit electronic data daily when working.
• Travel to MEPS field sites and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
