Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person interviews, collect health care cost and usage data, and transmit data daily.

Training is mandatory, with in-person sessions in January 2027, and travel to various households is often required. The role is part-time and seasonal, with two data collection periods each year and breaks between rounds. A valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to lift items are necessary.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Be available for mandatory training and travel between January 2027 and January 2027.
• Able to travel to local and occasional long-distance households, including overnight travel.
• Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week when work is available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with respondents and collect data.
• Transmit collected data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Report to field supervisor and comply with data security requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and stay compliant with study protocols.
