Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join the Field Operations Team. This field/project-based role requires coordinating on-site construction activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, and managing subcontractors to meet schedule and budget targets.

The successful candidate will have extensive construction experience in light/heavy industrial settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read complex drawings and reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; 10+ years construction experience OR 15+ years with increasing responsibility in lieu of degree.
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sector highly desired.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents.
• Strong people management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; MS Project a plus.
• Self-motivated, independent, team player with strong work ethic.
• Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule.
• Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Schedule work, including subcontractors.
• Ensure safety and quality standards and participate in Gray's QMS program.
• Procure tools and materials to meet project schedules.
• Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors to prevent delays.
