Job summary

Gray Construction seeks an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to support Field Operations on field/project based work across multiple sites in the United States.

The role involves coordinating MEP activities, assisting the Project Manager, reviewing drawings, and ensuring safety and quality on site. Travel is required; a strong team approach and construction experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with minimum five years related experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
• Energetic, self-motivated team player who enjoys a team environment and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to assist planning procedures for construction on the basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule. Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Schedule work, including subcontractors.
• Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.
