MEP Site Manager — Industrial Construction Lead

Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to lead field operations on projects nationwide. This hands-on role requires coordinating MEP trades, reviewing drawings, and maintaining safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have extensive construction experience with strong leadership and scheduling skills; MS Project is a plus. Travel to project sites across the U.S. will be required.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of construction experience, or 15+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager with locating and evaluating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Prepare scopes of work and assist in development of MEP project schedule and estimates.
• Coordinate on-site construction activities from pre-start up to completion.
• Review drawings (P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural) and maintain current sets.
• Ensure safety and quality per company standards and QMS program.
• Lead supervisory personnel and coordinate with subcontractors to prevent delays.
