Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Construction Manager to ensure smooth fulfillment of contracts after design. The role requires overseeing both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction with strong communication.

The on-site manager travels to job sites, coordinates with a team, and may work remotely during non-peak periods to support other projects. The candidate will lead safety programs, manage schedules, review pay apps, and assist with commissioning and warranties.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings.
• Assist with subcontractor selection and manage the bid process.
• Review contracts and M&V requirements.
• Develop construction schedules and manage subs to milestones.
• Administer safety programs and develop subcontractor contracts.
• Coordinate with vendors on submittals and orders; track lead times.
• Lead construction review meetings and weekly field reports.
• Assist with commissioning and address M&V items during construction.
• Review subcontractor pay applications and track project financials.
