CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Manager to ensure a smooth fulfillment of contracts after design. The role requires on-site leadership during heavy construction, with travel to job sites and coordination with administrative staff, engineers, and design teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC/mechanical systems, commercial construction, and strong communication skills. On-site work is common during heavy construction phases; remote work is possible during

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members and clients.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings.
• Manage subcontractor selection and bid process; review contracts and M&V requirements.
• Develop construction schedules and ensure milestones are met; lead safety program and meetings.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and submittals; track lead times and orders.
• Manage project finances, pay applications, and warranty start-ups; coordinate owner training.
