Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Construction Manager to lead on-site execution from pre-construction through post-construction. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and oversee safety, quality, and subs.

The role requires strong communication, travel to project sites, and collaboration with vendors and design teams. The successful candidate will oversee bid processes, subcontractor contracts, and on-site construction activities, ensuring milestones are met and close

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/mechanical and commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate field staff and subcontractors.
• Experience reviewing drawings and managing bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit milestones.
• Develop Safety Binder and administer Safety Program.
• Develop Subcontractor Contracts and coordinate equipment orders.
• Lead Construction Review Meetings and document weekly field reports.
• Assist with commissioning and address M&V items during construction.
• Review Subcontractor Pay Applications and track project finances.
• Schedule factory start-ups and manage warranty-related documentation.
• Coordinate owner training and handle project punch lists.
• Travel to job sites as required.
