Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator in Brownsburg, IN to coordinate medical care and support patients and psychiatric clinicians. You will ensure quality, compassionate service for in-person and remote patients, handling prior authorizations, lab orders, and paperwork efficiently.

The role requires strong multitasking, excellent communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Healthcare experience and HIPAA awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role preferred.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office & EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care as a point of contact for patients and clinicians.
• Provide patient support including prior authorizations, lab orders, and records requests.
• Assist with patient forms and coordination of paperwork (FMLA, etc.).
• Facilitate communication between patient, medical staff, and pharmacy.
• Answer calls on the medical services line and address medication questions and refill requests.
• Assist patients with telehealth access and patient portal issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate external referrals for patient care.
• Support clinicians with administrative tasks (letters, faxes, etc.).
• Maintain accurate information in the patient’s EHR.
