Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to serve as a primary contact for coordinating medical care, supporting patients and psychiatric clinicians, and ensuring high-quality customer service for in-person and remote patients.

The role requires strong multitasking, clear communication, and HIPAA awareness, with a compensation of $24.50 hourly plus quarterly bonus potential. Location: Manalapan, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using computer software applications (Microsoft Office & EMRs).
• HIPAA awareness and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care as a point of contact for patients and clinicians.
• Provide excellent customer service to in-person and remote patients and clinicians.
• Assist with prior authorizations, lab orders, letters, records requests, and patient paperwork.
• Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and pharmacies.
• Support clinicians with administrative tasks (letters, faxes, etc.).
• Triage urgent requests and route to appropriate departments when needed.
• Assist in coordinating external referrals for patient care.
