Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to serve as the frontline contact for coordinating medical care and supporting patients and psychiatric clinicians. You will ensure quality service for both in-person and remote patients, handling administrative tasks with precision.

The role supports patient care through authorizations, records requests, and communication across teams, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems; strong HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care and provide support to patients and psychiatric clinicians.
• Deliver excellent customer service to in-person and remote patients and clinicians.
• Assist with patient forms, prior authorizations, and records requests as needed.
• Help patients access telehealth and patient portals, and troubleshoot issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Maintain accuracy of patient pharmacy information in the EHR and scan correspondence.
