Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Program Manager responsible for overseeing the dementia care program across the community. You will coach and lead associates who provide care and activities, ensuring person-centered programming, dining, and daily support align with residents' needs.

Collaborate with leadership to provide dementia training, manage preadmission/move-in/move-out processes, and drive hiring and education related to dementia care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of management and direct supervision experience.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's dementia care program and coach caregiving associates.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, admissions/move-in/move-out processes, hiring and education of staff on dementia care.
• Plan and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs tailored to each resident’s needs.
