Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Program Manager to oversee dementia care programs and lead a team of associates in delivering person-centered care across the community. This role emphasizes coaching, program development, and collaboration with leadership to ensure high-quality resident experiences.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology or related field and at least three years of management experience, with hands-on experience in dementia care within residential settings.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with at least three years of management and supervision experience.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dementia care program and coach Care Associates in delivering person-centered programming, dining, and care.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move-out processes, hiring, and education of associates about dementia care.
• Plan and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs meeting the needs of all residents in the dementia care community.
