Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Program Manager to lead our dementia care program across communities. You will oversee the implementation of person-centered programming, dining, and care, while coaching associates in dementia care and ensuring high-quality engagement for residents and families.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation, or related field, with at least three years of management experience and dementia care expertise in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in gerontology, recreational therapy or related field.
• Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with dementia in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dementia care program implementation and coach associates who are caregivers.
• Coordinate dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move-out processes, and education for associates.
• Plan and coordinate dementia-friendly programming tailored to each resident's needs.
