Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Dublin, OH is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the dementia care program across the community. You will coach and lead caregiver associates, ensure person-centered programming, and coordinate with leadership on training and admissions.

A Bachelor's degree in gerontology or related field and at least three years of management experience in a residential setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field.
• Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's dementia care program and provide coaching and leadership to caregiver associates within the community.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move-out processes, hiring, and staff education for dementia care, including leading programs and interventions for behavioral expressions.
• Plan and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs tailored to the needs of each resident within the dementia care community.
