Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Program Manager to lead dementia care programs across our Clare Bridge community. You will coach care associates, ensure person-centered programming, and coordinate resident and family engagement.

The role includes dementia training, admissions processes, and planning a calendar of dementia-friendly activities. A bachelor’s degree in gerontology, recreation, or related field and 3+ years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with a minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of the resident and family engagement dementia care program and coach associates who are caregivers.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide dementia training and manage preadmission/move-in/move-out processes, hiring and education regarding dementia care.
• Plan and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs meeting residents’ needs.
