Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate dementia-friendly programs within our Clare Bridge community. The role focuses on person-centered programming for residents, aligning with Brookdale’s engagement philosophy and BEST standards.

You will collaborate with families and staff, ensure program quality and compliance, and may supervise program assistants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean 3-year driving abstract; may require CDL depending on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs a 7 day a week person centered program engaging residents.
• Develops monthly calendar with resident input and ensures events run as scheduled.
• Ensures dementia care programs comply with Brookdale standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and associates about Alzheimer's and other dementias.
