Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Program Coordinator for the Clare Bridge program. You will plan and coordinate dementia-friendly activities, engage residents, and work with families and staff to deliver person-centered care.

The role involves scheduling a 7-day calendar, ensuring regulatory compliance, and occasionally supporting events outside the community. A driver’s license and two years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and/or dementia.

Responsibilities

• Designs a 7-day, person-centred program scheduling engaging dementia-focused activities.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents' interests and plans events.
• Ensures programs comply with BEST and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and staff about dementia care.
• May supervise Clare Bridge Program Assistants and conduct evaluations.
• Coordinates holidays and community outreach events.
• Monitors residents' health changes and coordinates interventions with the clinical team.
• Oversees Brookdale's social media content to align with brand and policy.
• Plans programming outside the community and may drive a community vehicle.
