Job summary

Brookdale Clare Bridge Program is seeking a Program Assistant to help lead dementia-friendly activities and engage residents in meaningful, person-centered programs. You will support the Manager/Coordinator in implementing a calendar of activities tailored to individual resident needs and preferences.

Ideal candidates have experience with older adults, dementia care, and strong written and verbal communication. A valid driver's license may be required for community activities and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports implementation of person-centered programs for residents with dementia.
• Assists in leading and engaging residents in the 7 domains of well-being.
• Reviews individual resident service plans and completes program documentation.
• Ensures dementia care programs comply with state, federal, and Brookdale standards.
• Provides guidance and resources to associates on programming and engagement quality of life.
• Coordinates and participates in special events such as family socials and open houses.
