Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Clare Bridge Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver dementia-friendly activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. You will develop a weekly calendar with resident input, supervise program staff, and ensure adherence to Brookdale standards while collaborating with families and the care team.

The role emphasizes person-centered programming and community involvement, with opportunities for growth within Brookdale’s dementia care portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and facilitates a calendar of person-centered dementia friendly programs.
• Develops monthly calendar with residents’ input and coordinates events.
• Ensures programs meet Brookdale standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with leadership to educate families and associates about Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
• Supervises program assistants and participates in performance evaluations.
• Maintains budget and supports volunteer program.
