Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and facilitates a calendar of person-centered dementia-friendly programs for residents.
• Develops a 7-day-a-week calendar with residents and coordinates special events.
• Ensures programs comply with Brookdale standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with families and staff to provide resources and in-services on dementia care.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, education or related field
