Arrow Senior Living is hiring a Memory Care Support Partner in Joplin, MO. This part-time role runs a weekly schedule: Week 1—Thu, Fri; Week 2—Mon, Sat, Sun, 3:00pm–11:00pm. You’ll foster empathy, understand residents’ interests, and guide daily experiences from breakfast to bedtime.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a high school diploma, communicate in English, and are able to document care. The role supports within a team that values residents and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents
• Positive and energetic attitude who loves residents
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information
• Must be active with standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
• Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments
• Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and engagement plans
• Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily activities and environment
• Life Partner: assist residents with daily life from morning to night
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately
• Orient new memory care team members to the neighborhood
