Avamere Communities is seeking a Server for a memory care, assisted living, or independent living setting in St. Helens, Oregon.

The role involves taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents with attention to dietary needs and preferences. The position requires delivering friendly service, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintains high personal hygiene while working.
• Interpersonal skills to work with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Courteously delivering food and beverages to residents.
• Providing attentive and friendly service and addressing requests.
• Setting up dining room and maintaining cleanliness during service.
• Clearing and resetting tables for the next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents.
• Answering questions about menu and dietary needs.
• Interacting professionally with residents and guests.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
