Avamere is seeking a part-time/on-call Server to provide exceptional dining service in a memory care/assisted living environment in Portland, OR. You will take orders, serve meals, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires friendly, professional demeanor, ability to handle dietary needs, and flexibility for weekend/on-call shifts. Benefits are available for eligible employees and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and hair containment.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card required by local health department.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver food promptly and attractively to residents.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and respond to residents' needs.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables after meals and reset them for the next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Know the menu and dietary needs; answer residents' questions.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per established policies.
