Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Must maintain high personal hygiene.
• Interpersonal skills to work with staff and residents.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meals and beverages for residents.
• Promptly serving meals and presenting food attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address resident requests.
• Set up dining room before meals and keep areas clean.
• Clear and reset tables after meals for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Be familiar with menu and dietary needs; answer questions.
