Avamere at Hillsboro is seeking an on-call Server for memory care, assisted living, and independent living environments in Hillsboro, OR. Duties include taking orders, serving meals and beverages, setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area to ensure a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities also include delivering room service orders, answering questions about the menu or dietary needs, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and hair tied back.
• Interpersonal skills to relate well with residents and staff.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders to residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents, presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and check on residents’ needs.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Know menu and dietary needs to answer questions.
• Interact with residents and guests professionally and courteously.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of waste per policy.
