Job summary

Avamere Living in Seaside, OR is seeking a Server to provide excellent dining service in memory care, assisted living and/or independent living settings. Duties include taking orders, serving meals, maintaining dining room hygiene, and delivering room service when needed.

Shifts include 7am–7pm or 7am–2pm with varying schedules; wage ranges from $17.45 to $22.77 per hour DOE, plus an attendance bonus eligibility for full-time staff.

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Interpersonal skills to serve residents and collaborate with staff.
• Ability to learn and operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain resident care confidentiality and a respectful demeanor.
• Compassion for the elderly and a warm, patient attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Courteously delivering food and beverages and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive service and address resident needs during meals.
• Set up dining room and condiments, maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear and reset tables for next service; manage room service orders.
• Answer questions about menu, dietary needs, and ingredients.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests; create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policy; perform other duties as assigned.
