Job summary

Avamere Living in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an on-call Server for memory care and assisted living dining services. You will take orders, serve meals, clear tables, and respond to residents' needs with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, maintaining sanitation, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. CPR/First Aid certification and a Food Handlers card are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Able to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and check on residents during meals.
• Set up dining room and maintain cleanliness before, during and after meals.
• Clear tables and reset for next service; assist with room service orders.
• Know menu items and dietary needs; respond to resident questions.
