Job summary

Avamere Communities in Portland, OR is seeking a Part-Time Server to provide excellent dining service in a memory care/assisted living setting. You will take orders, serve meals, set up and clear tables, and help maintain a warm, safe dining environment for residents and guests.

Wage ranges from $17.45 to $22.77 per hour DOE, with weekend availability. Attendance bonuses apply; benefits and PTO are available per policy. Previous food-service or elder-care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and serving in a care facility is a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and related regulations for hospital/nursing home operation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages to residents and presenting them attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address residents' needs during meals.
