Job summary

Everstory Partners in Livonia, MI, seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery product decisions with compassion and expertise. You will manage leads, build a pipeline, and close sales while delivering exceptional service.

The role offers uncapped commissions, a paid training period, and opportunities to engage with the local community through events and referrals. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral homes, cemeteries, operations, and leadership teams to ensure a positive experience.
