Job summary

Everstory Partners in Livonia, MI seeks a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product choices with a consultative approach. Role emphasizes relationship-building, community outreach, and revenue growth.

You will manage leads, coordinate with funeral home and cemetery teams, and earn commissions based on performance. Training is provided during the initial weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Must obtain and maintain all applicable state-required licenses or registrations within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
• Explain products, services, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, and follow-up activities.
