Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Detroit to assist families in choosing funeral and cemetery products with compassion. The role blends consultative sales, business development, and community outreach to build lasting relationships.

You will manage leads in HubSpot, engage through various channels, and travel to local events as needed. A base plus uncapped commissions drives earnings potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
• One year of experience in sales or related roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete sales contracts.
