Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Membership Specialist to deliver professional customer service to members and insureds, assist with memberships and insurance sales, collect payments and provide information on billing and policies. You will verify coverage, issue binders, develop leads for agents, and support management and agents while maintaining strong relationships and cross-selling opportunities.

Strong data entry, Word/Excel skills, and a Property and Casualty license are required; GED is

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1-3 years customer service experience preferred.
• Moderate proficiency in data entry required.
• Moderate Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred.
• Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state - issued by state within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds.
• Sell memberships and assist in the sale of insurance to prospective insureds.
• Accept payments on membership and insurance; verify coverage for lien holders/leasing companies.
• Provide binders as requested and perform typing/office duties.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists; engage in cross selling.
• Resolve member and insured related problems using discretion and judgment; refer complex issues to higher level.
