Job summary

The Haverhill YMCA is seeking a friendly, energetic individual for a part-time Member Services Team Member role at the Welcome Center in Haverhill, MA. You will help members connect to YMCA programs, answer questions, provide tours, and update membership information.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent service in person and by phone, interviewing prospective members, and promoting memberships while maintaining a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts.
• Schedule includes weeknights, Sundays, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in person and by phone.
• Interview prospective members and give tours of the facility, promoting YMCA memberships.
• Build relationships with members and connect them to YMCA programs and services.
• Handle membership concerns professionally and inform supervisor of unresolved issues.
• Apply YMCA policies and procedures related to member services.
• Monitor locker rooms when required and respond to emergencies as necessary.
