Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to greet members, open accounts, and process routine banking transactions at our branch location.

The role requires accurate cash handling, strong communication, and the ability to educate members on available services. You will balance cash, assist with drive-thru operations, and support daily branch activities with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• High level of self-control and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to ongoing training.
• Speak English fluently.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Open new memberships and accounts; process changes.
• Educate members on services and recommend solutions.
• Balance cash drawer and key transactions in Margo.
• Balance vault, ATM, coin sorter; operate drive-thru as needed.
• Maintain daily/ monthly records for reports.
• Assist with card advances and credit lines with approval.
• Answer phones, file, scan, and other clerical tasks.
• Train in other branch ops as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
