Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a member-focused teller to greet members, explain available accounts and services, and guide them to the right resources. You will process new memberships, open and modify accounts, and balance cash and vault resources with accuracy.

The role requires strong math, communication, and confidentiality, with the opportunity to train across branch operations. A professional appearance and dependable attendance are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must speak English fluently.
• Regular attendance is mandatory.
• Willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Able to count money and balance cash drawer.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and respond to their needs, directing to the right source.
• Establish new membership, open accounts, and process changes.
• Balance cash drawer and balance vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
• Educate members on services and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Record transactions in the Margo system and perform clerical duties.
• Assist members with account problems and reconciliations.
• Support training in other areas of branch operations as needed.
