Job summary

Spectrum Technologies is seeking a Member Account Specialist in Richmond, VA, to support members via phone and in-branch interactions. The role involves handling transfers, deposits, and loan payments, while delivering responsive service and accurate information.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of banking/teller experience and 1 year in finance call centers, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. This is a 12-month, on-site assignment at a credit union.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year banking experience as a front desk teller.
• Minimum 1+ year call center experience in finance handling customer calls and resolution.
• Proficient with computers and office equipment.
• Strong attention to detail in numbers and names.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with members.
• Ability to provide outstanding professional service.
• Able to multitask in a call center environment.
• Strong active listening and problem-solving in complex conversations.

Responsibilities

• Work at the call center on the phone and in person at a designated branch location.
• Inform, educate, and advise members regardless of circumstance.
• Perform transfers, withdrawals, loan payments by transfer and credit card payments by phone or checks.
• Assist with transfers, payroll deductions, direct deposits, stop payments, and account inquiries.
• Cross-sell products and services aligned to branch goals and member needs.
• Handle cash duties and teller tasks when required.
• Resolve member inquiries and issues; report risks per policy.
• Complete required training including BSA, OFAC, and Information Security.
