Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a customer‑focused associate in Colonial Heights, VA to support members with deposit accounts, loans, and other financial products. You will handle routine transactions, provide product guidance, and help resolve account issues while adhering to regulations.

This role emphasizes teamwork and knowledge sharing as the organization serves members nationwide. Availability includes Monday–Saturday hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic counseling on available products and services to meet member needs.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other products.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and enhance member relationships through education.
• Understand and comply with relevant federal and institutional regulations.
• Support teammates by sharing knowledge and best practices as experience grows.
• Ensure cash and negotiable instruments are handled securely.
• Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
