Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a proactive Member Services Officer to assist members with account maintenance, loan applications, and general financial guidance. You will open accounts, process transactions, and educate members on SECU products in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to educate members.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in consumer lending and process loan approvals within assigned limits.
• Balance cash drawers and assist with basic teller functions when needed.
• Open and maintain accounts for new members following procedures.
• Provide guidance on SECU products and services and refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Support branch operations, handle routine member inquiries, and ensure confidentiality.
