Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Officer to support members in lending, accounts, and related services. You will assist with consumer lending, open and maintain accounts, and educate members on products and referrals, delivering friendly, accurate service.

In this role, you’ll navigate regulatory requirements, balance routine transactions, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in person, by phone, and online.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts/Science via NC-CTP.
• Must possess aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust.
• Demonstrated proficiency in responsibilities ofAssoc MSO role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in all areas of consumer lending and account maintenance.
• Open and process maintenance on tax-advantaged accounts; process wires and currency if needed.
• Provide quality referrals to Financial Advisory and Real Estate Services.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements and protect member information.
