Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a front desk team member for our Austin-based franchise group, Excel Fitness. You’ll welcome members, assist with tours and sign-ups, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols, including mask mandates where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience at the front desk.
• Check members into the system and assist with new account sign-up.
• Take prospective members on tours and close sign-ups.
• Update member accounts as needed and respond to questions promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
