Job summary

SECU is seeking a Member Services Officer in North Carolina to handle account maintenance, open all account types for new members, and assist in consumer lending within assigned limits. Duties include processing wires, maintaining accurate records, and promoting SECU products during member interactions.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and complete required CLP and New Consumer Lender Training.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in consumer lending within assigned limits.
• Open and maintain member accounts following MIP procedures.
• Process foreign and domestic wires and currency exchanges.
• Balance cash and manage teller tasks as directed by management.
• Educate members on SECU products and provide quality referrals.
• Engage with community events to enhance Credit Union presence.
